The Windmoor Professional Mentoring program gives undergraduate students individual guidance to:
– Excel in their work;
– See the expertise they are gaining as being for the service of others;
– Be committed to the progress of their chosen profession.
Personally tailored mentoring is based on the results of the Windmoor Professional Inventory, which students take before the first mentoring session. The Inventory assesses student performance in five critical areas: (1) Professional Direction, (2) Ideals, (3) Optimal Work, (4) Collaboration, and (5) Work-Life Balance.
Mentoring consists of four weekly one-hour sessions. The goal of each mentoring session is for students to determine and act upon concrete areas of improvement in their professional development.
