Recollections & Retreats
“Days on retreat. Recollection in order to know God, to know yourself and thus to make progress. A necessary time for discovering where and how you should change your life. What should I do? What should I avoid?” - St Josemaría Escrivá.
An evening of recollection includes a preached meditation by a priest, an examination of conscience, a talk, exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and benediction, and an opportunity for confession and spiritual direction. Afterwards, there are light refreshments.

A silent retreat is a great opportunity to step back and examine one’s life. Our silent retreats include Holy Mass, meditations, the rosary, stations of the cross, benediction, talks, and ample time for personal reflection and conversations with a priest.

Hillsdale Retreat (Jan 16-18, 2026)
The retreat will begin at 12:00 on Friday, January 16, 2026. Holy Mass will be included in the schedule the first day, on Friday afternoon. The retreat will end at 2 pm, after lunch on Sunday, January 18, 2026.

We recommend business casual dress for the retreat, with a jacket for Mass and Benediction.

Mass of St. Josemaría
An annual Mass for the feast day of St. Josemaría Escrivá is celebrated at a parish in South Bend in June. Info for the 2026 feast day Mass will be announced in the spring.
